Today is the Golden celebration for the Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin, this is one of the well known land mark of Negara Brunei Darussalam, constructed by the late Almarhum Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin in the 1958. I was in singapore for the weekend to spend ramadhan with my other half. The best part was of course meeting her, and breaking our fast at Geylang serai, we wondered around the market place before settling down to get something to eat, unfortunately the food stalls were all fully seated. We had to break our fast by just having cendol, which tasted durian, a first for me and the mrs, and it tasted good. The atmosphere were electric, and so were the people.More pics here

I am really taken aback after seeing what is currently some of our neighbouring countries are going through, cyclone at myanmar and quake in China. It is very sad to see at the pictures posted on newspapers and also in the internet. Even with the current abnormal weather, our own country,Brunei is also experiencing some heavy winds and rains,which damages homes and properties.Before posting this, i was looking at some pictures from the net, on the devastation caused by the earthquake in china, and couldnt stop from shedding a few tears.Lets hope the families,governments and people's affected by this tragedies will be strong to rebuild their life and country.Prayers to all the people who have perished in the incidents.

I have been busy for quite a while, work,family, business and friends are currently occupying most of my times,that is the reasons why most of my previous post were from youtubes, just wanna share with all of you out there,few vids that are currently my favourites,and also because of the new speed that i am currently paying for( so i gets to download faster at home).Hot news in Brunei last few weeks were the war of the Broadband provider, yes we bruneians are now spoilt for choices to get connected online. 3 service providers are currently offering their services to the masses here in Brunei. 2 providers are using HSDPA and 1 provider using ADSL. Well one thing for sure the consumer is the real winner here. Other thing that is currently going on in Brunei is about me...my other half will be off somewhere for a year....it will just be my kids and me staying in Brunei....i guess i will have to work hard in taking care of the kids,and hope my other half will finish her thingy with excellent results.Anyway, will try to post more in the near future...take care Ye'all ....

Wow..my weekend was sure packed,especially our Sunday,firstly during the morning,i went to JC for our usual BFF breakfast gathering,and get to lay my hands on the 300mm 2.8 lens owned by AKU which cost 5k...hahah....then off to watch HORTON at Mall cineplex,and on the way to the mall witnessed an accident,as the above pic shows, the car got stuck on the traffic light....and finally end my day with a drivetest of some friends 125cc go kart at JP kart track.It is surely a fulfilling sunday for me and the family's.I do hope all of you have the same fun as mine on your sunday.

I was in singapore last week for a short business trip,and decided to do my friday prayer in 1 of the masjid in Orchard road..maybe some of you guys were not aware there were even a masjid there in Orchard road. It is located behind Park hotel,its where Swensen is located,and beside Paragon. A nice clean masjid, located on the ground floor of some office building.So if any of you bruneians going off to singapore for holiday or business trip,check out the place and please donate to them, so they have money to maintain the place. Funny thing was,you know being in singapore,you tend to see lots of women and girls in short skirts or skimpy outfit,and just imagine these ladies passing the side of the masjid,while worshippers are about doing their routine rituals, it is really a challenge against their iman...i guess...hahah...we are all human after all....

We watched the chipmunks movie yesterday at the mall,boy!! it was really entertaining,especially with the kids,me and the MRS had a really good laugh with this movie,who ever thought ALVIN will be making an appearance into real life movie,and it really brings back good memories of hearing the chipmunks singing,well we all grew up watching alvin and the chipmunks.The critics might hate the idea of having talking chipmunks,but the fans i believe love it...me for one loving it...heheheh,next review will be on the will smith's latest flick,I am Legend.

You guys must be wondering where these pictures was taken?it was taken at a place we send off our friends,families away for a trip overseas.Heard about the plan on expanding this place?yes they will be expanding this place soon,and even engaged a consultant to come up with a master plan,they even ask the public to write in,on what the public would like the place to have. Well for me,they need to tidy up the place first,fix the aircon.Well that is just my 2 cents opinion..how about you guys?

It was a busy sunday for me and the mrs,first sharpshooters descend to Blue eden for bfast,AB invited them.It was his treat i guess,for winning the Simpur Bloggies for best photoblog.Present was BER,ZADM,RJ63,da Gangsta,Kantalensa with his Junior ,PUZIAN,REZA,Strobist,AKU,CPS,Along manja,and notforgetting our very own Chow yun fatt , im so sorry if i have missed some names here,i have never seen a long table full of DSLR in one location. After the meeting with the sharpshooters,we headed down to KB for my cousins wedding,this time its Manja's wedding,last month was Jenab's, 2 weddings in less than a month....anyway Congratulations again to the newly Weds.To finished off our day,we attend again another wedding at OGH,this time its Pheng Keong and Vivian's Wedding(sorry no pictures),Congratulations again to the newlyweds.Phew...that was our sunday,how about yours?i do hope you all have a wonderful tiring and fun sunday.

Yesterday,i went to the inlaw residence to send the kids to their cousin's 2nd birthday,with bouncers around,the house was virtually transformed into a mini playground for kids and adults alike,well... giant bouncers do make adult feels like kids again...hehehehe..anyway Happy Birthday again to Ahza.

This year has been the news of Old school bands or singers making a comeback,the likes of Led zappelin,David Lee roth with Van Halen,The SPice girls,Crowded houses and many more,but to top it off,Jermaine jackson of the Jackson 5 announced that they will be making a come back soon....I wonder if Michael will be in it,anway,i cant wait for Guns&Roses to make a comeback,will they ever come back,we will see.
