Another 2 weeks

Today i have the privilege of taking pictures of the Brunei Flag raising ceremonies in conjunction with the upcoming Brunei 25th Independence day celebration. It was attended by Ministers and Government officials and were held at the Yayasan Hassanal Bolkiah Square,right infront of Masjid SOAS. Here are some of the pictures taken by me this morning. Im back

Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin

Today is the Golden celebration for the Masjid Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin, this is one of the well known land mark of Negara Brunei Darussalam, constructed by the late Almarhum Sultan Omar Ali Saifuddin in the 1958. This Masjid plays a major role in the development of Islamic education in Brunei.Now today it is 50 years old, and thank you to ALLAH the almighty, it will stand another 50 years. Pic taken by me last night.

Ramadhan in Singapore

I was in singapore for the weekend to spend ramadhan with my other half. The best part was of course meeting her, and breaking our fast at Geylang serai, we wondered around the market place before settling down to get something to eat, unfortunately the food stalls were all fully seated. We had to break our fast by just having cendol, which tasted durian, a first for me and the mrs, and it tasted good. The atmosphere were electric, and so were the people.More pics here

Kuala Lumpur PT 2

The Pavillion A continuation from my KL previous post, came back from a tiring 1 week trip from KL(kuala lumpur)Malaysia, it was great to be back to KL,why?because of the FOODS!! and also being able to meet up with colleagues from KL office. I was in KL for a week long training, and it was a great session,meeting up with other people around the Asia region and getting new information and knowledge. Pics of my trip can be seen here.

KART PRIX BSB 2008

The last time a kart race was held in BSB it was 40 years ago, but today,BSB was the venue of a KART prix,in conjunction with His MAjesty 62nd Birthday celebration, KUDOS to the organizer for being able to conduct this prix.The last time i raced was back in 2004,really missed those days.Anyway pics of today race can be seen here.

Brunei Open Lawn bowls 2008

Last night was the Brunei Open Lawn Bowls Singles final match, it was the selection for a tournament in KOREA i think....hehehe...my sis lost in this final...but she will be representing Brunei in KOREA...congrats sis....more pics can be seen here
